Young People's Citizenship Seminar
LEARN ABOUT THE POWER OF YOUR VOTE!
- Vote in actual elections and experience how YOUR vote really does count.
- Run for office and participate in rallies.
- Be inspired by speakers, develop leadership skills and network with students from across the state.
- All 2013-2014 high school sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply
Did you know...
On average, 150 students participate annually in YPCS, in total educating more than 6,500 students about the American democratic system.
Past participants include former Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus and U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers.

The cost of the seminar is generally sponsored through a scholarship from the county Farm Bureau or local business, but a small commitment fee may be required.
